2014 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Review

Redesigned 2014 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

Many people don’t think of a Hybrid as a larger vehicle with great off-roading capability. They think of the well known Prius; Toyota has squashed these preconceived notions with the 2014 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. Totally redesigned this year, the 2014 Toyota Highlander Hybrid offers a more streamline look, mechanical upgrades and an even more comfortable interior.

The outer appearance of the 2014 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is more sleek thanks to the A-pillars being repositioned, the lower roofline and more sleek body lines. With the longer length means there is more room inside the cabin of the Highlander Hybrid. There are also other changes for this year such as more modern finishes, a larger control centre screen and of course more cargo room.

Changes to the powertrain of this beast includes the addition of the new six-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift and a new all-wheel drive system. With these changes the 2014 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is even more-equipped to handle your backcountry adventures.
