The Corolla Cross makes a strong first impression, with a distinctive black grille, flared fender arches, sweeping body lines, and an integrated rear spoiler. LED headlamps and tail lamps create unique lighting signatures, coming or going, while the grade-specific 17-inch or 18-inch wheels emphasize this SUV’s firmly planted stance.
Inside, the Corolla Cross welcomes up to five adults to a surprisingly spacious and comfortable cabin. All models feature heated front seats and a driver-focused cockpit. When more space for stuff is required, this versatile subcompact features 60/40 split folding rear seats, wide rear doors, ample trunk space, and a low cargo-loading height.

Two Corolla Cross grades feature a 169 peak horsepower 2.0L Dynamic Force four-cylinder engine with start-and-stop technology, mated to a CVT with sequential shift mode and front wheel drive (FWD). This powertrain generates 169 peak horsepower and a fuel efficiency of 7.3L/100km (city/highway combined). Four Corolla Cross grades feature the same powertrain as the FWD models, enhanced with Toyota’s Dynamic Torque AWD system for all-weather confidence and enhanced year-round driving fun. These models are rated at 7.8L/100km (city/highway combined).
Two Corolla Cross Hybrid grades are built around fifth-generation hybrid powertrains that pair a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with motor-generators plus an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (CVT) with paddle shifters and all-wheel-drive. This combination delivers 196 net system horsepower plus stellar fuel efficiency at just 5.6L/100km (city/highway combined).
All Corolla Cross models feature a high-strength platform that contributes to a smooth, stable ride, plus an urban-friendly 5.2m turning radius.
Every Corolla Cross features the Toyota Multimedia system. This bundle of start connectivity technologies helps keep drivers informed and safe while simplifying their lives behind the wheel. Toyota Multimedia integrates wirelessly with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and features Toyota’s newest interface, which improves interaction between people and vehicle through sight, touch, and voice. This 169-peak horsepower front wheel drive model features a 6-speaker display audio system with Toyota Multimedia (with Service Connect and Safety Connect) plus an 8-inch touch screen, 4.2-inch multi-information display, 17-inch steel wheels, heated front seats, bi-beam LED headlamps and LED rear combination lamps, power adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, air conditioning, and a backup camera. The 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross XLE AWD rounds out the lineup with a long list of enhancements over the LE Premium grade. The 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid XSE AWD loads up this sporty crossover with a long list of upgrades. The display audio system features nine JBL speakers, and the addition of Drive Connect to the Toyota Multimedia system. Other technology enhancements include a 7-inch multi-information display, a backup camera with back guide monitor, intuitive parking assist with auto-braking, and a wireless charging dock for personal electronics.
